MEHA exists to give Missouri employers a durable, credible seat at the table in healthcare policy.
Our purpose
Employers finance a large share of healthcare in Missouri, yet purchaser perspective is often the least represented in policy debate. MEHA organizes that perspective.
We focus on the structural issues that determine what employers pay and what employees receive: affordability, transparency, competition, and the freedom to design benefits around a specific workforce.
What we are not
- Not a healthcare provider association
- Not an insurance or health plan association
- Not a patient advocacy organization
- Not a benefits vendor or broker
How we work
MEHA is strictly nonpartisan. We evaluate proposals on one standard: whether they improve value for Missouri employers and the employees they cover.
The alliance is in formation. Founding members shape the agenda, the governance structure, and the priorities we carry into the statehouse and the market.
